How to Install APK Files
Follow these simple steps to install any app downloaded from APKPure Guru on your Android device.
Enable Unknown Sources
Go to Settings → Security (or Apps → Special access) → Enable "Unknown sources" or "Install unknown apps". This allows your device to install apps from sources other than the Google Play Store.
Download the APK
Tap the download button on the app page. Your browser may show a warning — this is normal for APK downloads. Tap "Download anyway" to proceed.
Open the APK File
Once the download completes, open your notifications panel and tap the downloaded APK file. If the file doesn't open automatically, use a file manager app to locate it in your Downloads folder.
Install the App
Review the permissions requested by the app. If you agree, tap "Install". The installation typically takes a few seconds. Do not close the screen during installation.
Launch and Enjoy
Once installed, tap "Open" to launch the app. You can also find the app in your app drawer. For security, you may want to disable the "Unknown sources" setting after installation.
Troubleshooting
- Installation blocked: Make sure "Unknown sources" is enabled in your settings
- Insufficient storage: Free up space on your device before installing
- App incompatible: Some apps require a minimum Android version — check the app's requirements
- Parse error: The APK file may be corrupted — try downloading it again
